From The Globe and Mail: Lionel Chetwynd, creator of a TV movie about the President's response to 9-11, says, "A lot of people who wanted to do this story had a very clear political agenda, very clear." As opposed to, we take it, Mr. Chetwynd, who -- despite being founder of the Wednesday Morning Club, an organization of Hollywood Republicans, and despite having used his White House connections in order to be named writer-producer of the movie -- only wants to tell a good story.

From The Globe and Mail: British screen and TV writer Russell T. Davies' latest is a mini-series, set in contemporary England, about the second coming of Christ. Should we be surprised that Mr. Davies is an atheist? He doesn't think so.
