From Comic2Film: First he was on the film. Then he was off it, and a dozen other screenwriters followed. But as John Turman (who still ended up with a credit on this summer's The Hulk) notes, that's pretty much the way the original comic book evolved.
From The London Theatre Guide: Kwame Kwei-Armah became a star in Britain on "Celebrity Fame Academy," but he sounds a lot more excited about having his play produced at the National Theatre: "It’s like I’m being mentored by a million people. It’s like I’ve been to playwriting boot camp, but also life and educational boot camp. "It has put muscle on my brain.”
