E-script for Playwrights
E-script's online courses and workshops in playwriting are offered in five and ten-week terms, and you choose your own Monday start date. Or if you simply want one-time feedback, try our script consulting service.
E-script's online E-course is a great training ground for beginning playwrights, and a good place for more experienced playwrights to polish their skills. Each week, registrants receive an online tutorial from internationally-produced playwright Frank Moher on a specific craft subject, and a related exercise. You return assignments by e-mail, and receive feedback in the same way. Frank will also be glad to respond to general questions and comments at any time.
Your course is highly individualized; Frank works one-on-one with you, and, unlike some other online courses, we don't ask you to provide feedback to other students. At the end of the course, you have the option of "meeting" with Frank in E-script's online chatroom, accessible via any web-browser.
As the course is conducted largely by e-mail, you may work at your own convenience. Exercises can be done on their own, or applied to a script you want to begin or are already working on. Registrants in E-script E-courses receive a 10% discount on a subsequent E-script workshop. (See What's the difference between a course and a workshop?)

Playwriting Workshop
The E-script Workshop is for playwrights who want to work on a new play, or on a draft of a work-in-progress, under the guidance of veteran dramaturg and widely-produced playwrights Mark S.P. Turvin. Submit script material to Mark by e-mail as often as you like; once weekly, you'll receive individual feedback intended to help you in revision and to encourage your ongoing work. Mark will also be glad to respond to general questions and comments at any time.

Can't spare the time for a course or workshop, but still want professional feedback on, and help with, your script? Then try our year-round script consulting service.
