Editor's picks (by Executive Director Frank Moher):
Little Mister Hot Screenwriter
From The Hollywood Reporter: After working as a reader for, among others, Matthew Broderick, Michael Arndt was determined not to make the same mistakes he saw in countless screenplays when he started to write his own. That's why he put Little Miss Sunshine through over 100 drafts -- and why he's almost certain to be up for an Oscar in 2007. But for all its freshness, Arndt's breakthrough script isn't so offbeat as all that, he says: "There's a classical form of three-act storytelling that you ignore at your own risk. Little Miss Sunshineis finally almost embarrassingly conservative."
