Dark Comedy/ 8 characters, 4 Women, 4 Men / Two Acts

Synopsis: Elvis Did It is the story of a dysfunctional family who cannot adapt to the changing times and sexual revolution of the 1960s. Consequently, they blame all their troubles on Elvis Presley. The main characters are all devoutly religious except for the son, Apollo, who is a rebel and a maverick. A series of events cause disruptions in the family resulting in the loss of their church building, the daughter committing suicide after having been "knocked up" by a fellow minister, the wife going off the "deep end" as a result of the suicide, the old maid Aunt putting the "make" on her brother, and the son running off with the nymphomaniac next door neighbour. The patriarch's life is saved only by a voice from heaven telling him that everything will be resolved if he will just stop buying Elvis Presley records.
