Synopsis: Mike's face is horribly scarred from an accident but that doesn't keep Linda from loving him. Linda was born with cerebral palsy, but that isn't the problem. The "heavy" is Linda's sister, Janet, who -- when their parents died -- made it her mission in life to care for her sister. Care became control. Now Mike must face Janet in an arbitration hearing to fight for Linda. The hearing officer is Helen, an older woman who is sympathetic to the lovers but must uphold the law. Her decision is binding.
